Screen and treat sleep apnea
Description
Screen for sleep apnea appropriately before patients undergo pharmaceutical treatment for weight management.

If neither a STOP-BANG questionnaire nor a sleep study have been completed, this protocol recommends a STOP-BANG questionnaire. If STOP-BANG has been completed and score is 3 or greater, the protocol recommends a sleep study if one has not been completed. If sleep study has been done and is abnormal, then a referral to sleep medicine is recommended.
