Description
Start GLP-1 agonists for patients without contraindications for weight management.

Clinical notes
If a patient is financially approved (either self-pay or insurance with prior auth approved), BMI > 30, and no contraindications, then recommend a prescription for one of the preferred GLP-1 agonists: Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Saxenda. Contraindications include history of pancreatitis, gallstones with gallbladder, medullary thyroid cancer (personal or family).
